Make your 2027 vision board.

Drop in photos, write your word and the goals behind it, circle what matters with a pen. Then take it with you: as a phone wallpaper, a desktop wallpaper, or a PDF to print and pin up.

Three steps

Everything on the board moves, turns and resizes, so the first layout is only a start.

Step 1

Pick a layout

Six areas of life, one big goal, a collage, the year in quarters, your word first, or a blank sheet. Each comes with frames waiting for photos.

Step 2

Fill it

Drop photos onto the frames, or paste them. Add your word in a serif, notes in a handwritten face, stickers, and a pen to circle and underline. Crop each photo inside its frame.

Step 3

Take it with you

Download a phone wallpaper for the lock screen you see all day, a desktop wallpaper, or a PDF on A4 or Letter to print and pin by the desk.

Six ways to start

Each layout re-arranges itself for print, phone and desktop, and the ground can change at any time: paper, kraft, sky, blush, night or ink.

Open the board
  • Six areas

Health, work, people, home, growth and joy, each with a frame.

  • One big goal

A large frame for the goal, and three small ones for the steps.

  • Collage

Six tilted polaroids, a strip with your word, and a stamp.

  • Four quarters

The year in four parts, a picture and one thing for each.

  • Words first

Your word large, three prompts to finish, and two photos.

  • Blank sheet

Nothing on it. Start with a photo, a word or the pen.

Three sizes, one board

Print

A 2480 × 3472 PNG, which is A4 at 300 dpi, or a PDF on A4 or US Letter with a white margin for the printer.

Phone

A wallpaper 1290 pixels wide and tall enough for a lock screen, with the layout drawn for a narrow sheet.

Desktop

A 2560 × 1440 wallpaper for a large screen, with the photos laid out across it in a row.

Questions

Is the vision board free?

Yes. There is nothing to pay and no sign-up. Make as many boards as you like and download each one as often as you like.

Where is my board saved?

In this browser, as you work, photos included, so it is there when you come back. Nothing is uploaded unless you are signed in: then a copy is kept with your account so the board opens on your other devices too, and Settings deletes it.

How many photos can I add?

About fifteen. Each photo is resized to 1,000 pixels on its long edge as it goes in, which is sharp on a printed A4 page. When the board is full it says so, and removing a photo makes room.

What sizes can I download?

Print is a 2480 × 3472 PNG (A4 at 300 dpi) or a PDF on A4 or US Letter with a margin. Phone is a wallpaper 1290 pixels wide, and Desktop is 2560 × 1440. Switch size at any time; the layouts re-arrange themselves to fit.

Does a vision board work?

Picturing the goal is a start, not a plan. In Kappes and Oettingen's 2011 studies, people who dwelt on a positive fantasy of the future felt less energised and achieved less. Naming the first step and when you will take it does better (Gollwitzer and Sheeran, 2006), so the layouts leave room for that step, and the 2027 Planner turns it into weeks.

Can I use it on a phone?

Yes. The board works with touch: drag to move, drag a corner to resize or turn, and draw with a finger. A laptop is easier for arranging many photos, and either one downloads the same files.

Put it where you will see it.

Then give it hours. HourLife plans the day an hour at a time, so the year on your board gets the time it needs.
