Ansoff Matrix

A one-page Ansoff Matrix — the classic 2x2 that maps growth along two axes: the products you sell and the markets you sell them to. Cross them and you get four paths, drawn as quadrants with the risk rising from top-left to bottom-right. Market Penetration sells more of what you have to who you already serve (lowest risk). Product Development builds new offers for current customers. Market Development takes today's offers to new customers or regions. Diversification means new offers for new markets — the boldest bet. Name the business, jot a few concrete moves in each quadrant, and the sheet lays out the grid with axis labels and risk chips so you can see where you have the right to win. Print it blank to plan by hand.
