The Calendar Heat Strip

A one-page calendar heat strip for seeing one dated sequence as a narrow run of intensity cells. Every cell is one date, sorted chronologically, and its colour shows how that day's value compares with the rest of the range. It is intentionally not a full heatmap grid: the point is a scanable strip that shows streaks, spikes, quiet gaps, and momentum without making you read a table or inspect a month calendar. Use it for deep-work minutes, pages written, workouts, sleep quality, mood ratings, symptoms, spending, calls made, outreach, lessons studied, habit streaks, or any daily measurement where the sequence matters. Choose whether high values or low values should be darkest, add one dated value per line, and the strip scales itself. Leave it blank to print an empty sequence and shade it by hand.

Best for
Tracking one dated sequence as a compact intensity strip — deep-work minutes, pages written, workouts, sleep, mood, symptoms, spending, outreach, or habit streaks.
