Gap Analysis

A one-page gap analysis that lines up where you are against where you want to be, names the difference, and turns it into a plan. Lay out the current state honestly and the desired state specifically, side by side with an arrow between them. Then name the gap — what's actually missing — and break it into a numbered action plan of the smallest next steps you can start on. Name the goal or area, fill the four parts, and the sheet lays out the flow from today to your target. Print it blank to work through by hand.
