Keep or Quit?

A one-page sheet for the commitment you can't tell whether to stick with — the project, the degree, the relationship, the losing stock — built to break the sunk-cost trap. The money, time, and effort you've already poured in are gone whether you continue or not, so the sheet has you name them and then literally cross them out: they get no vote. What's left is the only question that counts, the fresh-start test — if none of that were already invested, would you start this today? From there you weigh only what's still ahead, cost to continue against payoff if it works, and circle a verdict: keep it on its own merits, change how you're doing it, or quit and redeploy what's left. It closes with the smallest next step that follows. The sunk-cost fallacy is throwing good resources after bad to justify what's already spent — the past can't be recovered, only spent again. Fill it in to make an honest call, or print it blank and work it through by hand.
