Lotus Blossom

A one-page Lotus Blossom — the mandala chart made famous by Shohei Ohtani's high-school goal sheet — for cracking one big goal open into eight concrete directions. A goal like 'get in shape' or 'grow the business' stalls because it stays a single vague sentence with nowhere obvious to push. This sheet draws it as a 3x3 grid: your one core goal sits in the center cell, and the eight petals around it are the areas that feed it — training, recovery, money, mindset, whatever your particular goal actually needs. Each petal takes a short theme line and a couple of supporting moves, so the aim fans out from one intimidating target into eight smaller directions you can start on. Two things make it work. First, being forced to name eight supporting areas stops you from over-focusing on the one obvious lever and ignoring the rest — the goal gets support from every side. Second, once each petal holds a real move or two, 'get in shape' becomes a page of things you could do this week, and you just pick the petal to begin with. Use it for a fitness goal, a business or career target, a skill you're building, a habit overhaul, or any single aim big enough that it needs breaking down. Print it blank to fill the center and petals in by hand.
