The Skill Tree
A video-game-style progression tree for learning anything. Your skill sits in the trunk; nine ability nodes climb through three tiers — Foundations, Practice, Mastery — connected by branch lines with a tier gate on every crossing, up to a crown holding the endgame: the real-world moment all of this buys you. Every node has an unlock circle and a date line, checked in pen, bottom to top, no skipping tiers. A current-quest strip at the base names the one node you're grinding right now. Games got progression right — one visible unlock at a time — and this steals it for deliberate practice.
