Summit Climb

A one-page Summit Climb — a way to turn a big, daunting goal into a staged ascent you can actually start. Stare at a huge goal all at once and it reads as one impossible leap; break the route into camps and it becomes a series of reachable next steps. You name the goal as the summit, then plot the climb up a mountain trail: Base Camp is where you're standing right now — your current fitness, savings, skill, or starting reality. Camp I and Camp II are the milestones along the way, the intermediate wins that prove you're gaining altitude. The Summit is the goal reached, described concretely enough that you'll know when you've arrived. Laying it out as a climb does two useful things: it makes the size of the gap honest, and it points you at the one thing that matters today — the next camp, not the peak. Climbers don't summit by staring at the top; they move from camp to camp. Use it when a goal feels too big to begin, when you need to sequence a project, or when motivation dips and you need to see how far you've already come. Print it blank to sketch a climb by hand.
