The Attention Facts Label

A nutrition-facts panel for your information diet, set exactly like the one on the back of a cereal box. Declare the serving size ("1 phone, unlocked") and servings per day ("about 78 pickups"), then log up to six intake sources with the minutes each one took — Instagram, after-hours Slack, autoplay YouTube, the news, and, if you're lucky, an actual book. Each row prints with its time and a computed % of Daily Attention against a 16-hour waking day, with a shaded bar showing the share, and everything foots to one total line. Below the panel: an ingredients list in descending order by volume (outrage, sponsored posts, other people's holidays, genuinely useful things in trace amounts) and an allergen-style CONTAINS warning naming what the diet does to you. The footnote is fixed in regulatory deadpan — your daily values may be higher or lower depending on how much of your one life you are willing to lease out by the minute.
