Idea 1.0: one idea at a time
Idea 1.0 is available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Keep every idea in the reservoir, but give only one your attention at a time.
Idea 1.0 is out for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
The premise is simple: keep every idea, but give only one your attention at a time. Everything else lives in a private reservoir until you are ready to pull it down.
What shipped
- Capture ideas quickly from the app, widget, or share sheet.
- Organize the reservoir with your own labels instead of a rigid project tree.
- Pull one idea into the light and see how long you have been carrying it.
- Finish it, set it down, or let it go with a clear record of what happened.
- Export your ideas as plain text whenever you want to take them elsewhere.
There are no streaks, scores, public profiles, or ads. Idea is local-first, with optional private iCloud sync, and it does not require an account.
The first version is intentionally narrow. The product is not trying to make the reservoir more impressive; it is trying to make choosing less noisy. The next update is already being prepared, and we will keep the release notes here as it moves through App Store Connect.
Keep the ideas. Choose the one.

I had 212 ideas and had finished none of them
My ideas note was a graveyard with a search bar. Idea let me keep hoarding — and then made me pull exactly one idea down and live with it. Here's what a month of that did.
