A Day

Plan someone a day and give it to them as a link. Fill in the hours that matter and leave the rest open. They open it as a day drawn in the colour of the sky at each hour, with your note at the end.

A day, hour by hour

The studio is one page: the hours down the middle, and the day they will see taking shape beside it.

  1. Pick the hours

Type into any hour, from a lie-in to a late dinner. Enter moves you down the day. Four hours is plenty; twenty-four is allowed.

  2. Name it, date it, add a note

Call the day something, pick the date if there is one, and write a few lines for the end: why this day, or what it is for.

  3. Send the link

You get a private gift link to text or email. Signed in, you can pick a date and a time, and HourLife emails it to them then, the night before, say.

Made to be kind

  • Their time, their sky

The day is drawn in HourLife’s sky colours, night to golden hour and back, so a 7 AM lie-in and a 9 PM walk look like what they are.

  • Nothing to install

The gift opens in any browser. The person you send it to needs no app and no account.

  • The preview says only who it is for

A pasted link shows the day in colour, who it is for and who planned it. The hours and your note are for the page itself. Gift pages are kept out of search engines.

  • Sent means sent

A day never changes after you send it. Make another one like it in a tap, and your draft waits in this browser until you are ready.

Questions

  • What is A Day?

One day planned for someone, hour by hour. Pancakes at nine, the long walk at eleven, the film at eight. You fill in only the hours you mean and the rest stay open sky. It is for a birthday, a visit, an anniversary, or a Tuesday that deserves it.

  • Does the person I send it to need an app or an account?

No. The link opens in any browser as a day drawn in the colours of the sky, dark before dawn and gold at the end. They scroll down through the hours.

  • Can I plan a specific date?

Yes. Give the day a date and the page names it. Leave the date off for a day that has not been chosen yet.

  • Do I have to fill every hour?

No. Four or five hours make a good day; all twenty-four read like a timetable. The hours you leave empty are drawn as open sky between the ones you set.

  • Is this the HourLife app?

It borrows the app’s idea, a day as twenty-four hours you can see, drawn the way the app draws Today. The app is for your own days. This is for giving one away.

  • Can I change the day after I send it?

No, a sent day stays as it was sent. Start a copy to plan another, or delete the original so its link stops opening.

  • Is it free?

Yes, and you can plan a day without an account. Signing in lets HourLife email the link on the morning itself, and keeps your days in one place.

Someone deserves a day

It takes about ten minutes to plan, and it costs nothing to send.

Keep this going in the app.

HourLife turns these ideas into a daily system — goals, habits, focus, and reflection in one private place.
